Drought-stricken farmers mentioned in first post-election Presidential Press Conference

Farmers struggling with drought who “help each other” came up in President Obama’s first press conference post-reelection.

“They deserve a better government than they’ve been getting,” he told a room full of reporters during the Wednesday briefing.

He listed these farmers as among Americans he met on the campaign trail who inspired him with their resilience and served as a model for how he hopes the American government will act moving forward.
